The Campaign

In 2020, the world’s only significant provenanced medieval Knights Templar artefacts were discovered in a derelict Dumfriesshire church—they are unique and priceless.

Despite indisputable evidence, the discovery is negligently denied authentication by the Scottish government, purely because it is made outside academia.

For hundreds of years, the site of Holywood Church was understood to be a twelfth century-built Templar religious house; with its bells installed into the current church in 1779.  This history was corrupted by blatantly ill-formed unresearched Victorian conjecture.

The owners, campaigning to restore the truth of the bells and site, desperately need the public's help to circumvent academic prejudice and the Scottish government's indifference regarding the promotion and delivery of its own heritage policy.
